As a health and fitness writer and personal trainer, I am constantly asked questions regarding fitness, weight loss, diet, strength training and more. Most of my clients want to learn about introductory fitness concepts, not bodybuilding techniques or quick-fix diets.  These essential details are often glanced over or assumed in fitness videos, books and websites, yet they are the most important questions to ask!

My most frequently asked questions deal with issues like:

Trainer Confidential is my attempt to answer these questions (and many more!) and demystify the process of losing weight and staying healthy, especially for those of you just beginning an exercise program!

We all have questions about what to eat, how to exercise at home, how to lose weight successfully, etc.  And let’s be honest – weight loss is difficult, even when you know what you’re doing.  To be successful, you don’t need to drop hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars on gym memberships and diet books.  You just need the right information. The questions you see on this site are from clients, friends, family and readers like you who want real answers and actual solutions.  My answers are based on my own education, research, and personal experience with training clients, nutrition, and losing weight (I struggled with my own weight for years before I became a trainer).
